GOSPORT BOROUGH won their first home match of 2026 against Taunton Town at the AEI Stadium.
Although Jack Rice went close for Taunton, it was the hosts who opened the scoring within six minutes through Hisham Kasimu; the striker stabbing home a corner after his initial shot was brilliantly denied.
In response the Peacocks should have levelled after 15 minutes as Henry Blackledge made a triple stop to prevent Owen Brain at close range.
It was soon two-nil when quick interplay found Kasimu and he made no mistake by slamming into the botto...
