■ CLITHEROE put the disappointment of Tuesday’s Trophy defeat behind them and strolled to a comfortable win.
In a one sided first half, Clitheroe took an early lead as Jack Morris latched on to a headed pass and advanced on the keeper before finishing clinically.
After 19 minutes, the lead was doubled as Morris weaved his way down the left and squared to Veron Parny, whose shot was blocked, but Josh Briggs slammed the ball home.
