■ AN Evan Garnett brace helped Long Eaton overcome RC Warwick to go six games unbeaten in the league.
Garnett broke the deadlock in the 41st minute when Dexter Walters’ shot rebounded off a defender and up into the air for Garnett to volley home giving the visitors a slender advantage going into the interval.
In the second half, Warwick began to threaten as Jack Edwards’ header ricocheted off the bar and the visiting keeper was forced into a fingertip save.
