■ BEDWORTH United did their survival hopes the power of good with a two-goal win at fellow Warwickshire outfit Rugby Borough. But there was a hint of controversy with the home side claiming that a scrambled effort in the second half had crossed the line while the referee thought otherwise.
There was little to choose between the teams in the first half, but the visitors went closest when a Samson Hewitt free-kick was deflected against the woodwork.
