■ A POOR game played in cold and muddy conditions resulted in a drab draw between the two local sides.
The opening half saw the home side enjoy a greater amount of chances, although an early Consett penalty appeal was promptly turned down by the referee.
In the 43rd minute, forward Jack Robertson made it 1-0 to the home side as he outpaced the Consett defenders and fired a low shot into the bottom corner.
