■ FOURTH-placed AFC Whyteleafe continued to keep their play-off charge alive with this close-run win over relegation-threatened Hassocks at Church Road.
The hosts took the lead through Moses Emmanuel in the ninth minute, his turn and shot arriving as a fitting end to an industrious Aziz Sankoh run out wide.
Whyteleafe were then made to pay for a number of missed half-chances on the visiting goal as Hassocks restored parity on the hour mark with Matthew Daniel’s clinical effort inside the penalty area.
