Johnson’s error proves costly for the Bishops

KETTERING Town won against the ten men of Bishop’s Stortford, but the Blues stayed ahead of the Poppies in the mid-table battle in the Southern League Premier Division.
Both teams are on 35 points but Stortford’s superior goal difference sees them hold their position 11th in the table.
Charlie Johnson fouled Wesley York in the box for a penalty and a red card in the 20th minute.
William Glennon stepped up to take the spot-kick, and picked out the bottom-left corner while sending Adam Hayton the wrong way.
