GRITTY Redditch United ended a five-game winless run with a hard-fought victory in the Black Country.
But they were indebted to goalkeeper Tyrese Warmington who put in a starring role to keep their opponents at bay.
Stourbridge had the best of the opening half, with Dom Lewis putting an effort wide before Warmington helped a firm Jai Verma drive over the bar just after the half-hour. The Redditch keeper was in action again as the interval loomed, pulling off an excellent save to deny Tom Edge from just outside the area.
