BRANDON Goodship’s second double in consecutive weeks saw Weymouth recover to produce a comeback win away at Basingstoke Town.
His quick-fire finishes helped beat Walton & Hersham but here, they were spread out over an eventful second-half as the visitors earned back-to-back victories for the first time in almost two years.
Basingstoke stopper Simon Grant was alert early, parrying a volley at the back post while Thomas Blake clipped the outside of the post after a driving run through midfield.
