JAMES Ollis’ brace saw Yate Town secure their fifth home win of the season against Uxbridge, who sit three points ahead of them - but have played three games more.
It was a game where both had to work hard in overcoming wet conditions, especially in the second-half.
Yate led after 12 minutes, Lloyd James’ corner saw the ball fall to Ollis who fired home from close-range.
George Moore went close for the visitors, while Ollis was closed down after embarking on a mazy run in a half of few chances.
