UB Harry McGee scored his first goal for Runcorn Linnets to rescue them a point against spirited Avro.
The visitors, beaten on each of their previous visits to this part of Cheshire, were on course to change that statistic when debutant Darrhyl Mason steered them in front with a quarter-hour left.
McGee dashed those hopes four minutes later when he connected forcefully with Adam Rooney’s header to equalise.
