TAKELEY’S fourth match unbeaten saw them win at Essex rivals Witham Town, a result that lifted them out of the relegation zone.
Conditions at the Simarco Stadium were far from easy, but the tough slog probably worked in the visitors’ favour.
That said, it was Jarvis Monk who was the busier of the two goalkeepers, but he dominated his penalty area, keeping Witham’s forwards at bay.
