■ JERSEY BULLS moved closer to the play-off places as they beat Sheppey United.
The Ites started well and it took a fantastic eighth-minute, goal-line clearance from James Carr to deny them.
Lorne Bickley’s return strengthened the Bulls’ attacking options and on the half hour, Miguel Carvalho and Rai Dos Santos combined to set him up for the opener.
Less than a minute into the second half, Sheppey drew level thanks to Stan Oldfield.
It was no more than their first half performance merited.
