WHILE the stats point to Andy Peaks’ Tamworth enjoying the majority of the game and chances, Bobby Grant’s Marine came with a gameplan to be strong and disrupt their higher league opponents – and that bore fruit as they celebrated a famous victory to progress to the FA Trophy quarter-finals.
A goalless 90 minutes led to a tense penalty shootout with the National League North Mariners winning through thanks to a winning spot-kick from 16-year-old James Potter.
