HUNGERFORD capped off a challenging week with a spirited and fully deserved victory.
Manager Danny Robinson injected youthful energy into the starting line-up, handing Cam Squires his full league debut. However, the Crusaders were forced into an early reshuffle when captain Rhys Tyler came off on five minutes, Andreo Brandao slotting in at right wing-back. Clear chances were scarce in a cagey first half.
Gosport’s Kayak Tshaka came closest when his driven effort flashed narrowly wide midway through the period.
