■ TWO first-half goals were enough to see Bedworth to victory.
New signing Jac Redhead was denied by Long Eaton keeper Tom King as the home side had a number of chances before taking the lead in the 24th minute. Redhead’s corner was cleared back to him, so he had time to curl in a great cross for Elliot Parrott to power his header beyond Tom King.
