■ COLLS made it two months unbeaten with an emphatic home victory over Grimsby Borough as they controlled proceedings from the outset.
Ponte struck early after slick play down the right released Alfie Perry, whose cross was turned in at the back post by Frankie Sinfield. The hosts doubled their lead soon after, Joe Lumsden doing superbly to carve open the defence before Sinfield applied a composed finish for his second of the afternoon.
Grimsby struggled to gain a foothold, rarely troubling the Colls back line as the home side dictated the tempo.
