CAMBRIDGE CITY were left to rue a dramatic afternoon as they fell to a home defeat against Bowers & Pitsea despite a spirited late rally.
Former Lillywhites forward Michael Bareck proved the decisive figure, scoring twice and tormenting his old club.
He opened the scoring after 18 minutes with a superb finish from the edge of the area, before Ross Wall doubled the visitors’ advantage on the stroke of half-time.
