AFTER all the midweek turmoil which saw the resignation of the management team, it was a re-energised Lowestoft who nearly matched their lofty visitors.
It was Waltham Abbey though who scored after six minutes when the Trawlerboys defence dallied over a clearance, allowing Aaron Eyoma space and time to drill home just inside the upright.
Lowestoft dropped off the pace and Waltham added a second goal in the 65th minute with Kai Brown’s cheeky flick squeezing in at the near post.
