■ ADAM Haw’s late strike helped Bradford PA to beat Blyth and climb into fourth place.
It leaves their Northumberland visitors still floundering in the bottom two, battling to avoid relegation.
Town had gone into the game full of confidence, having won three of their previous four games, but failed to make an impact.
Kieran Hunter pulled off a fine save to keep Avenue at bay after 26 minutes but was beaten three minutes later when Connor Shanks was on target.
