TOP talent Jago Godden finally landed a move into the EFL with Walsall – and couldn’t wait to tell his Mum all about it in New Zealand!
The 22-year-old midfielder has joined the League Two Saddlers on an 18-month contract from National League North side Bedford Town. – and has been subsequently loaned out to Drogheda United in the League of Ireland until January 2027.
New Zealand-born Godden began his footballing journey with Christchurch United before deciding to pursue opportunities in the UK.
