Proud Marine boss Bobby Grant says the size of their FA Trophy achievement isn’t lost on anyone – and he’s told his players to recognise it’s no fluke either.
The National League North Mariners beat Tamworth on penalties to reach the quarter-finals of the famous competition for the first time since 1995.
Keeper Fraser Barnsley was the shoot-out hero with two saves before 16-year-old James Potter fired home the winning spot-kick to book their progression and a home date with last season’s semi-finalists Woking.
