HEYBRIDGE helped their relegation fight with a hard-fought away victory.
Most of the first half saw little goalmouth action. Charlie Stimson for Grays should have done better with a one-on-one situation, while Connor Hogan shot wide in reply.
Then with the half-time whistle approaching, the game was blown open. Tobias Braney latched onto some hesitant defending to open the scoring for Swifts and then moments later, Michael Salako nipped in between keeper and defender to make it 2-0 .
