RAMSGATE moved to within four points of the play-offs with a narrow win at Carshalton, who are now just a point and a place above the drop zone.
For 20-odd minutes, the ball was mainly away from the two penalty areas but Liam Nash did fire a shot over the Robins’ bar.
However, in the 22nd minute, Nash forced a corner taken by Alfie Pax-man. Matt Kerbey could not reach the ball and when it fell to the ground, Solomon Ogunwomoju was perfectly placed to prod it over the goalline.
