REDBRIDGE got the better of a rejuvenated Lowestoft side enjoying a mini-revival under new management.
Lowestoft applied early pressure and the breakthrough came when a deep cross found Aaron Bullent unmarked at the far post, and the forward made no mistake, poking home.
Redbridge thought they had responded swiftly, but Sam Carter’s volley was ruled out. The equaliser did arrive, though, when Pedro Carvalho squared intelligently into the path of Jack Chawner, who calmly guided his finish in.
