LACEY HIT WITH POLICE CHARGE

FORMER Non-League footballer and boxer Paddy Lacey has been charged with attempted murder after a man was left fighting for his life in a driveway shooting.
The 32-year-old is one of four men accused after a man in his 20s was left in a critical condition after being shot twice in the leg in Huyton, Merseyside, last November.
A former Manchester United youngster, Lacey turned out for the likes of Droylsden, Altrincham, Southport, Stalybridge Celtic, Chester and Warrington Rylands before joining Welsh side Flint Town United in 2023.
