CURTIS BACK IN DEMAND

GATESHEAD’S Curtis Edwards has rejoined his former club Östersunds – after supporters launched a crowd-funder to bring their hero back.
The 32-year-old enjoyed a three-year spell with the Swedish club from 20216 to 2019 under former Brighton, Chelsea and West Ham boss Graham Potter.
Now he has returned for a second spell after fans, on request of the club, raised 200,000 SEK (£16,393.90) to fund the move with those who contributed a certain amount getting an Edwards scarf thrown in.
