ASHFORD did just enough to take all three points against Eastbourne in a contest between two teams locked in mid-table.
Skipper Gary Lockyer opened the scoring, a close-range effort at the far post following a set piece.
The Nuts & Bolts doubled their advantage just after the half hour, Kai Garrett beating Chris Winterton.
It didn’t take long for Town to get back into the game, a corner headed past Harry Brooks by Nathan Hover.
Eastbourne battled hard for an equaliser, but their best efforts were held at bay ...
