■ DION Miftari’s goal just after n eight minutes gave Barton Rovers all three points at home to Flackwell.
The forward fired home with a fantastic strike to beat Henry Upstell in what turned out to be the game’s only goal.
After that, Barton nearly doubled their lead just before the half-time break when Murphy Culkin worked the ball down the flank, and Miftari’s pinpoint through ball almost found Rawn Seale, but Upstell was first to the ball.
