■ LEWIS Franklin’s hat-trick n helped Hitchin put Beaconsfield to the sword.
His first goal came after seven minutes, producing a clinical finish to a move featuring Liam Brooks and Taylor Rhiney.
Hitchin doubled their lead just two minutes later as Josh Coldicott-Stevens shot home from a Callum Nicolson assist.
Beaconsfield pulled a goal back after 28 minutes when Nnaemeka Anyanwu headed in.
Hitchin went further ahead after 74 minutes when Franklin finished off good work by Nicolson and Callum Kane.
