AFTER surviving a goal n ruled out for a foul on the goalkeeper and saving a penalty, Bashley thoroughly deserved this victory which was their first following 12 defeats.
Matt Wright thought he had headed Exmouth into the lead, but the goal was disallowed and then Oscar Glover saved a penalty diving to his right to deny Joe Belsten.
That was as good as it got for Exmouth, who were then outplayed by a committed Bashley side showing far more determination and quality.
