15-0 HAMMERING IS PARKS’ LAST STRAW

ALLEXTON & New Parks have pulled out of the Midland League Division One after a torrid season culminated in a 15-0 hammering at Leicester St Andrews last Saturday, writes ROBIN JONES.
In their 30th season since being formed in the New Parks area of Leicester as a youth football club, they were bottom of the table with just six points and one win from 30 games, having conceded 128 goals and scoring just 24.
As Leicestershire Senior League champions, they moved up to the Midland League at Step 6 in 2024 and finished third bottom in their first ever Step 6 campaign last season.
