SIGNED AND SEAL-ED: Connell Rawlinson, left, has been handed the interim job at Chester

FANS’ favourite Connell Rawlinson has taken charge of Chester FC until the end of the season following the earlier-than-anticipated departure of Calum McIntyre.
McIntyre, 32, announced in January that he was to step down at the end of his contract in May after over 200 matches in the hotseat, yielding two National League North play-off campaigns.
But after last Saturday’s 2-1 win over Spennymoor, it was agreed an immediate change was in the best interests of the club.
