HYDE United and Prescot Cables had to settle for a point apiece from their ‘relegation six-pointer’.
It was Cables who struck the first blow in the seventh minute.
Harry Ditchfield’s square ball was intercepted by Tony Donaldson and he laid the ball off to Paul Murphy-Worrell, who fired his shot across goal and into the far corner of the net. The equaliser for the home side came on the half hour mark.
