PLAY-off chasing Redditch had to be patient against lowly St Ives during an uninspiring first half but went up through the gears after skipper Alex Cameron broke the deadlock four minutes after the restart.
United’s Aaron Bishop had had a shot blocked and fired wide in an otherwise forgettable opening period which had seen Theo Alexandrou curl an effort wide for the visitors early on.
