■ BOURNE gave themselves a fighting chance of staying up with a draw at Coventry Sphinx.
They went 2-0 up after just 12 minutes – the first came on nine minutes as Lewis Darlington slotted home a goal that they very much deserved, having gone close earlier on.
Robbie Ellis doubled the visitors’ lead just three minutes in as he squeezed the ball over the line.
Coventry Sphinx pulled one back after 53 minutes as Damian Kelly fired the ball past William Lakin.
