BRIGHOUSE bounced back from last week’s 7-0humbling at Redcar, picking up a respectable point against mid-table Hallam.
The Brig stood firm despite the visitors’ pressure to keep their hopes of staying up hanging by a thread.
Hallam had chances to win it late on, with Leon Howarth seeing his effort cleared off the line, but had to settle for a point in West Yorkshire.
The stalemate sees The Countrymen move up to 11th in the table and, crucially, eight points clear of the drop zone.
