CONSETT edged a seven-goal thriller in a rollercoaster of a game at the seaside.
Bridlington took the lead through Tom Allan, but Eddie Thomas seized on a poor backpass to level.
Three minutes before the break Joe Batty restored the home side’s lead to make it 2-1 at half-time.
Skipper Charlie Exley levelled again with a header from Brendon Daniels’ free-kick, and Thomas scored again after good work by Lewis Leech and Marc Costello to put Consett ahead.
