COMING off the back of a draw with Trafford, Nantwich opened the scoring early on as Byron Harrison converted from the spot after Joe Slinn brought him down.
Newcastle should have equalised as Harry Bower rounded the onrushing Ben Garratt, but the ex-Nantwich man couldn’t finish with the goal open. Byron Moore almost doubled the Dabbers’ lead after some strong hold-up play from Harrison set him up, his effort flew wide.
