JOSH Williams’ late winner snatched all three points for Croydon Athletic at Deal Town.
A fifth consecutive victory keeps Athletic in second place and within striking distance of leaders Three Bridges – who lost to Sittingbourne – while defeat for Deal dents their hopes of mounting a late push for a play-off spot (they are now five points adrift of the fifth-placed Jersey Bulls).
Town had started well and took control when Jamie Kennedy opened the scoring after 19 minutes.
