TWO goals in a two-minute spell in the 39th minute put Ashford firmly in the driving seat.
The first saw Gary Lockyer finishing off a game of head tennis to nod home.
Straight from the restart, a long ball from defence was back-headed by Bays Zuriel Otseh-Taiwo past his keeper Joe Coleman leaving Louis Collins the simple task of tapping into the open goal.
The second period was much the same with Ashford dominating and forcing Bay into too many errors.
