TAKELEY picked up three vital points as they try to avoid relegation from the North Division, their victory ensuring that hosts Heybridge Swifts remain in the drop zone.
The tension of the two teams’ precarious position was clear in the opening half with little meaningful action until Jack Adlington-Pile almost picked out Swifts skipper Connor Hogan after 45 minutes.
