SUTTS CLAIM RUSS

SOUTHERN Counties East premier division promotion chasers Sutton Athletic have appointed Russell Bedford as their new manager.
Bedford, who was assistant manager at Erith Town, has succeeded Peter Nolan who quit Sutton last month after 18 months at the helm.
Assistant Anthony Gradley and goalkeeper coach James Kenny have followed him.
A Sutton statement said: “Russell arrives with a wealth of knowledge and there is clear excitement around the start of this new era.”
