SHARIF NETS AS CABLES HIT BACK TO BAG VITAL POINT

IN A week full of fixtures between all the bottom six teams in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, neither Prescot Cables nor Rushall Olympic could afford to drop points.
However, they had to settle for a point apiece from a hard-fought encounter.
The game began slowly with little in the way of clear chances for either side.
Rushall forced a save from Cables keeper James Pradic, who did well to prevent the ball spilling into the net.
