■ BURY kept their slender lead at the top as they won at Kidsgrove.
Kai Evans gave Bury an early lead after just five minutes, when Owen Robinson’s shot cannoned off the post into Evans’ path, who scored his 16th goal of the season.
Kidsgrove’s best chance came just before the break when Logan Cousins saw his shot trickle just wide of the goal.
Bury doubled their lead with 20 minutes to go when Mo Touray was fouled in the penalty area – the former Warrington Rylands man dusted himself down and calmly slotted home.
