■ SHIFNAL ended a nine-sequence without match a league victory after battling past Trafford.
Macauley Taylor was the Shropshire side’s match-winner, turning neatly on the edge of the penalty area before dispatching a powerful shot past goalkeeper Harvey Bardsley.
His third goal since arriving from Kidsgrove, it means Connor Patterson’s men can savour collecting maximum points for the first time since Boxing Day.
Trafford had chances to draw level, and Charlie Frost headed wide just before the break.
