LEATHERHEAD lived on their nerves but managed to hold on to beat third-placed Moneyfields.
With second-placed Westfield also losing, the Tanners now hold a six-point lead at the top of the table.
Moneys had the first opening, a break from Alfie Bridgman went to Adam Payce, but he went for power and his shot flew over the crossbar.
After 22 minutes Moneyfields skipper Tom Cain clumsily fouled Jacob Breckon in the box and Nathan Hogan confidently converted past Malachi Osei-Owusu.
