HORNDEAN remain 11 points from safety with only 11 games remaining after their ten men held on for a precious point against Raynes Park Vale at Grand Drive.
Defences were on top and most of the match played in midfield, with Vale’s plans not helped when Ibrahim Bangura limped off after 15 minutes.
What may have been a key moment in the match came eight minutes after the break when forward Leon Baker committed a silly foul and was shown a second yellow card, leaving the Deans a man short.
