HORNETS GET A £2M GO-AHEAD

HEBBURN Town CEO Stephen Rutherford says the approval of planning permission for a major new upgrade and Community Hub are a “hugely positive step forward” for the club.
The £2m project, which includes a FIFA Pro certified artificial main pitch, 3G training pitch and a suite of modern sporting facilities, has taken a significant step closer to fruition after being given the South Tyneside Council’s Planning Committee.
