Steve King says Eastbourne Borough need to shake that sinking feeling if they’re going to pull off a Great Escape – and the new boss has already bolstered the frontline.
King joked it’s been a long time coming that he managed the club in the town he’s lived in for more than 20 years as the strugglers turned to the National League South’s most successful manager to try and inspire a survival bid.
It comes after Tommy Widdrington was axed in February just four months, replacing Matt Gray at the helm.
